Well, there are alot of websites around where you can apply for being a ghostwriter (though all credit is given to the person who hired you when the work is done, which I personally don’t like at all).

You could also freelance for your local newspaper. I once knew a teacher who did this and made a good ammount of extra cash.
I have joined Associated Content 2 months ago and love it. It’s a get rich slowly path to writing. They pay about $3-$4 an article and $1.50 per 1,000 page views. However, it serves as a wonderful writing portfolio and it’s easy and quick to get published. I earned about a $100 last month pecking at it part-time. Good luck.
I have many friends who make a living off of writing articles. They seem to love what they do and are not struggling even with the economy how it is. i think it is a good decision to write articles and from i hear it is a fun job.
