I don’t know specific websites but I advise you to tread lightly on the matter. Don’t pick just any topic, especially if you have no expertise and don’t trust any site that promises to pay via PayPal. Do your homework above all else.
Writing is a very tough, competitive field. You can’t just write a few articles and think you have a professional portfolio of work. It takes a lot of hard work, networking, and even education/expertise in a specific field.
People who think they can just write a few random pieces are not writers. They’re hacks. Freelance for local newspapers or magazines instead. It’s far more reputable and you’ll earn a lot more respect.
